DSG is a automatic gearbox that feels like any other conventional automatic gearbox when you use it. It is available in six-speed and seven-speed versions.

The way a DSG is made is very different to other types of automatic transmission. The way it uses a pair of clutches in place of a single unit allows it to change gear faster than a traditional manual or automatic gearbox.

Increased torque limiter
if the vehicle is equipped with a DSG gearbox the engine output will be limited by the torque limiter set in the DSG TCU, which we can raise the DSG torque limiter to match the engine torque output allowing the gearbox to keep up to speed with the engine torque output.

DSG Shift Speeds
Gearbox shift speeds can be increased by up to 30%, this allows you to choose whether you want your gears to change quicker, earlier or later. The quicker shift speeds will also give a smoother gear change and improve peddle response time.

RPM Limits & Shift Set Points
RPM limits and shift set points can be adjusted in drive, sports and manual mode. Adjusting the rpm limiter as part of the engine ECU remap is not enough on a DSG equipped vehicle due to the fact the engine ECU and Gearbox TCU is running with different limiters causing the car to drive less efficiently. The DSG ECU will also determine what rpm the gear shift takes place.

Launch Control
Launch control usually is activated in most DSGs. We can adjust the launch control RPM which will allow your car to make the perfect launch every time, reducing your 0 – 60 time and increasing the fun factor of what DSG is about.
